International Consultants and Contractors Association of Iran (ICCA), is a non-governmental and non-profit organization formed in 1998 to facilitate the international business development activities of its members, which comprises of more than 250 leading Iranian engineering and construction companies.
The Association's efforts are aligned with Iran's strategic position as an industrial leader in Central Asia, Africa and the Persian Gulf region. The Association can play an especially important role in Central Asia, because of Iran's historical and cultural bonds across the region.
In recent years, members have focused on raising their standards and efficiency to international levels.
Consequently, members have qualified to participate in numerous international tenders and have won contracts including the full range of services, from design and engineering through procurement, construction and commissioning, to operation and maintenance. These have been in practically every sector, including power plants, industrial plants, refineries, dams, roads, bridges, airports, seaports, housing and urban design. These contracts have been completed on time, on budget, and to international standards.
Types of Membership
1. Principal Members
All the companies and organizations engaged in technical and engineering activities or exporters of such services that meet the Association's requirements and have all the required qualifications.
2. Affiliate Members
Technical and engineering associations and entities. Representatives of such associations shall participate in the meetings of the Board of Directors called by the International Consultants and Contractors Association of Iran Board of Directors, without having the right to vote.
3. Honorary Members
Honorary members are elected from among the Iranian and non-Iranian specialists having the proper experience or valuable technical, engineering and managerial background or capability to execute technical and engineering projects.
Membership Terms
1. Written application request;
2. Accepting the Articles of Association and undertaking to abide by the provisions of the same;
3. Paying admission and annual membership fees;
4. Active participation in the fields of technical and engineering services or export of the same under the approval of the specialized associations of technical and engineering services or the Board of Directors of International Consultants and Contractors Association of Iran
